Metaliteracy and the flipped classroom

I had the opportunity to reflect and share the opportunities that have opened up in our one-shot instruction sessions since we have flipped them. In planning and designing the flip our desire was to increase student reflection and critical thinking. Presenting our work at the IULILC 2014 Conference where the theme was Metaliteracy gave me the opportunity to reflect on what is happening during instruction in respect to what we had planned. Here is my presentation.
